June 30th – July 1st,2018, 10th Huaxia Pharmacoeconomics and Health Technology Assessment Forum and 2nd China Pharmacoeconomics Young Scholar Forum were held in Tianjin Hyatt Hotel. This Forum was cohosted by Pharmacoeconomics Committe of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, ISPOR Beijing Chapter and Tianjin University.
Changjiang Scholar Gorden Liu, Special Allowance Specialist Wu Jiuhong, Vice President of TJU Yuan Yingjin, Associate inspector of Tianjin HFPC Wang Zengtian, Party secretary of SPST Feng Cuiling and many other excellent Chinese scholars, decision makers, representatives from pharmaceutical industries from U.S., U.K., Canada, Netherlands, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and domestic regions attended the forum.
After Prof. Wu Jing announced the official beginning of the forum, Yuan Yingjin, the Vice President, gave a welcome speech. He stated that it was a great honor for TJU to host 10th Huaxia Forum, as an international top forum of Pharmacoeconomics to promote evidence-based health policy in Asia-Pacific region. Associate inspector of Tianjin HFPC Wang Zengtian also expressed his contrats for this forum.
Prof. Gorden Liu from Peking University, Prof. Li Shuquan from University of Newcastle, Prof. Tan Yanhui from Kaohsiung Medical University et al. gave presentations focusing on development and application of value framework, patient-centered health policy, theory and practice of HTA, real world evidence in health policy, and HTA evidence in health insurance access.
At the same time, Prof Zhuang Guihua from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Prof. Xie Feng from McMaster University, Associate Prof. Luo Nan from University of Singapore were invited to co-host 2nd China Pharmacoeconomics Forum. Twelve young scholars from University of South California, York University, University of British Columbia, Peking University, Fudan University, Tianjin University et al. gave great presentations.
