The Finney Laboratory in the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at Tianjin University has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher, beginning October 1. The available research projects focus on the development of fluorescent probes for biological and environmental applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong synthetic skills, experience with all routine purification techniques and analytical methods, and knowledge of standard computer software. A strong work ethic and reasonable fluency in English are expected, as is an ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

The appointment is 20 months, and can be extended to 24 months.
