Brief introduction of Speaker:

Paul Floreancig is a professor of chemistry in University of Pittsburgh. His group research is directed toward developing fundamentally new transformations, highlighting their utility for complex molecule synthesis and investigating the structure–activity relationships of these natural products and their analogues. He has been the recipient of many awards including Research Corporation Research Innovation Award (2001), NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship (1997-1999) and Roche Award for Excellence in Organic Chemistry (1995). He has presented more than 100 invited lectures in universities and industry.
