On the afternoon of October 2, 2025, coinciding with Tianjin University's 130th anniversary and SPST’s 25th founding anniversary, the Second General Election Meeting of SPST’s Alumni Council was successfully held in Room 206, Building 24 on the Weijin Road Campus.

Feng Cuiling (Tianjin University’s Chief Counselor & former SPST Party Secretary), Wang Lei (President of Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group & Chairman of Darentang), Zhou Hong (Deputy General Manager of Tianjin Pharmaceutical Darentang Group & Secretary of the 6th Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory’s Party Committee), Wu Jing (Party Secretary), Mu Xin (Vice Dean) as well as the alumni representatives of all generations, their family members, and faculty-student representatives attended the meeting.

The meeting elected the list of the new Council: Feng Cuiling and Zhao Kang were appointed as Honorary Presidents, Wang Lei as President, Wu Jing, Liu Xiuyun, Mu Xin, Dong Wei and Lin Yingfu as Vice Presidents, and Li Nan as Secretary-General.

The event consolidated alumni strength. The new Alumni Council will build a communication platform to boost SPST’s development and the construction of "Healthy China", jointly opening a new chapter for SPST and its alumni.
