  The School aims to provide our students with the education and training that will enable them to become future leaders industry and academia To prepare students to become innovators in pharmaceutical science and technology, students will perform both coursework and laboratory research that emphasizes problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, experimentation, and individual initiative. Upon completion of the MS program, students should possess a strong grasp of the principles of pharmaceutical science, the ability to design and carry out an independent research project, and effective scientific communication skills.   1) Medicinal Chemistry

  The M.S. programs in Medicinal Chemistry at Tianjin University will gain specific focus on organic synthetic chemistry with the broad goals of drug discovery and optimization.   2) Pharmaceutics

  Master of Science degree program of “Pharmaceutics” is encompassed in the research themes: formulation sciences and drug discovery, with particular spectrum of diverse scientific disciplines. The pharmaceutics program offers education and training in pharmacy operations leading to pharmaceutical technology at postgraduate level and also foster the ability to solve research problems which quite often require mastering basic science concepts from multiple disciplines.

  3) Pharmacognosy

  Master of Science degree program of Pharmacognosy, is interdisciplinary, drawing on a broad spectrum of biological and socio-scientific subjects, including botany, ethnobotany, microbiology, herbal medicine, chemistry, biotechology, phytochemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice.   4) Pharmaceutical Analysis

  Master of Science degree program of Pharmaceutical Analysis is the study of composition, property, quality control, quality assurance and biomedical characteristics of natural, chemical and bioengineering drugs (pharmaceuticals) in simple or complex matrices with emphasis on separation sciences. The contributions made by pharmaceutical analysis have played critical roles in the whole pharmaceutical sciences ranging from the development of concepts, theories and analytical techniques to a variety of practical applications, such as drug design and development applications.   5) Celluar and Molecular Pharmacology

  Master of Science degree program of Cell and Molecular Pharmacology is focusing on the structure, physiology and medical aspects of disease-causing organisms, the role of microbes in the initiation of disease states, the use of antibiotics and immunological methods in their control, and the fundamental mechanisms which underlie important problems in Pharmacology at cellular and molecular level. The program will provide students interested in pharmaceutical sciences the opportunity to master fundamental and contemporary theories with the state of art modern technologies.
